Receive email in Telegram with a permanent address
Open @trafficRobot, press Start, and you get an email address like k3x9q@push.tg. Everything sent to it shows up in your Telegram chat. It stays active until you delete it, and you can make a new one for every site.
Opens @trafficRobot in Telegram. Press Start and your first address arrives in seconds.
Two different problems: delivery and identity
Most "email to Telegram" guides solve delivery: they copy mail from an inbox you already have (usually Gmail) into a chat. That works well when you want a few important Gmail alerts on your phone.
The other problem is identity. Every shop, app and newsletter that gets your personal address can leak it, sell it or spam it forever. Forwarding doesn't fix that, because you still hand out the same address. For that you need a separate contact address that you can revoke. That's what push.tg gives you: permanent addresses that live in Telegram, one per website if you like, each deletable in a tap.
How to get email in Telegram in 3 steps
- Open @trafficRobot and press Start. The bot creates your first address, e.g.
k3x9q@push.tg. - Type that address wherever a site asks for your email: sign-ups, stores, newsletters, forms.
- Each new email appears in the chat with the subject, the text, and the sender and recipient addresses. Long or HTML-heavy emails include a Display in browser link to the full copy.
Want the whole family or team to see the mail? Add the bot to a group chat and create the address there. Every member gets the emails.
Ways to forward email to Telegram, compared
| push.tg address | Gmail-forwarding bot | IFTTT / Zapier / Make | Self-hosted (mail2telegram, gmail-tg-notifications) | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Setup time | About 5 seconds | Minutes | 10–30 minutes | Hours |
| Needs access to your mailbox | No | Often (OAuth) or a forwarding rule | Yes (OAuth) | Yes (IMAP or API credentials) |
| Hides your personal address | Yes, senders only see the push.tg address | No | No | No |
| One address per website | Yes, one tap each | No | No | Possible with your own domain |
| Kill spam from one sender | Delete that one address | Write filters | Write filters | Write filters |

| Ongoing maintenance | None | Low | Task limits, broken zaps | Servers, tokens, updates |
| Best for | A separate, revocable contact address | Selected Gmail alerts | Custom rules across apps | Full control, if you like ops |
You can combine them. Set a Gmail filter to forward only bank or delivery alerts to your push.tg address, and use fresh push.tg addresses for new sign-ups.
Forward Gmail to Telegram without giving anyone your password
- Get an address from @trafficRobot.
- In Gmail on the web: Settings → See all settings → Forwarding and POP/IMAP → Add a forwarding address, and enter your push.tg address.
- Gmail sends a confirmation email to that address. It lands in your Telegram chat. Open it and click the confirmation link.
- Create a filter (sender or subject) with "Forward it to" your push.tg address, so only the mail you care about goes to Telegram.
Outlook.com works the same way under Settings → Mail → Forwarding. No bot ever sees your mailbox.
What push.tg does and doesn't do
- Permanent: addresses don't expire. They stay until you delete them.
- Revocable: if an address starts getting spam, delete it. Nothing else is affected, and you know which site leaked it.
- Groups: shared addresses for a household, a team, or a club inbox.
- Privacy: Each email arrives in your Telegram chat. The full copy sits behind a secret link for up to 12 hours, then it's destroyed. See the privacy policy.
- No replies from the address. You see the sender's address and can reply from your normal mail app, which reveals that mailbox.
- Telegram required. Mail is delivered to Telegram, so you need a Telegram account.
Bonus: every address is also an API endpoint. curl -d "Backup done" https://push.tg/k3x9q sends a message to the same chat. See Telegram alerts with curl.
FAQ
Can email be forwarded to Telegram?
Yes. Telegram can't receive email by itself, but a bot can. With @trafficRobot you get an email address, and every message sent to it is delivered to your Telegram chat as a regular message with the subject, text and sender.
Can I receive email in a Telegram group?
Yes. Add @trafficRobot to the group and create an address from inside the group. Every member of the group sees the incoming emails.
How do I forward Gmail to Telegram?
Add your push.tg address as a forwarding address in Gmail (Settings, Forwarding and POP/IMAP), confirm it with the code that arrives in Telegram, then create a filter that forwards only the emails you want. Gmail never shares your password or mailbox with the bot.
Can I get email in Telegram without sharing my personal address?
Yes. Give sites your push.tg address instead of your personal one. Senders only see the push.tg address. If it starts receiving spam, delete it in the bot and create a new one.
What's the difference between forwarding and temporary email?
Forwarding copies mail from an inbox you already have. Temporary email gives you a throwaway address that expires within minutes or hours. push.tg addresses are a third option: separate addresses that stay active until you delete them, so password resets and receipts still arrive months later. More on that in our temp mail comparison.
Is my email stored?
Each email arrives in your Telegram chat. The full copy sits behind a secret link for up to 12 hours, then it's destroyed. See the privacy policy at push.tg/static/privacypolicy.txt.
Can I reply to emails from Telegram?
No. You can see the sender's address, tap it and reply from your regular mail app.
Is it free?
Yes, it's free to start and has no ads. A free allowance covers everyday use, and the bot tells you if you reach it.
